Anycubic PETG Filament – Black (1.75mm, 1kg)

Tough, impact-resistant PETG | Water, weather and chemical resistant | Handles more heat than PLA | ACE compatible | Works with any 1.75mm FDM printer

Tough, practical parts that last. Anycubic PETG combines PLA’s ease of printing with much of ABS’s toughness. It’s the go-to filament for functional parts, outdoor prints and anything that needs to survive real-world use.

Takes a knock. PETG has roughly double the impact strength of PLA and flexes slightly before it breaks, so parts are much less likely to crack or shatter. It’s ideal for brackets, clips, mounts, enclosures, tool holders and replacement parts.

Built for real-world conditions. It resists water, weather and many common chemicals, and handles more heat than PLA: it softens at about 70°C, compared with around 54°C for PLA. That makes it a strong choice for garden fittings, car interior parts, bathroom and kitchen accessories, and outdoor use.

Strong layers. It has good layer bonding (31 MPa in Z, higher than any of the PLAs), so functional parts stay solid in every direction.

Deep black finish. Clean, glossy black gives functional parts a finished, professional look.

Tips for best results

  • Dry before printing, at 55–65°C for 6–8 hours. PETG absorbs moisture, and damp PETG strings and bubbles.
  • Use glue stick or a release agent on smooth PEI beds. PETG can stick so well it pulls chunks off the surface.
  • Expect a little stringing, which is normal for PETG. Tune retraction or use a quick pass with a heat gun.
  • Store it sealed with desiccant between prints.
