Reliable, easy PLA for everyday printing. Anycubic PLA Basic is a dependable all-rounder for hobbyists, students, schools and makers. It prints easily on any 1.75mm FDM printer and gives consistent, clean results, so it’s ideal for learning, prototyping and everyday projects.
Muted, modern blue-grey. A soft slate tone with a cool blue hint gives prints a calm, contemporary look. It suits functional prototypes, architectural and product models, desk organisers, home décor, and military or sci-fi models.
Smooth, reliable feeding. The neatly wound spool helps prevent tangles and keeps filament feeding smoothly, so you get fewer jams and more successful prints. Consistent extrusion gives clean layers without bubbles.
Easy to print. It prints at 190–230°C and 50–200mm/s with simple, forgiving settings, which makes it ideal for beginners. Its layer strength is among the best in the Anycubic PLA range, so it handles everyday functional parts well too.
Low odour. PLA is made from plant-based, renewable materials and has only a mild smell when printing, so it’s comfortable for homes, offices and classrooms.

Tips for best results
- Dry the spool at 45–50°C for 6–8 hours if it’s been open for a while.
- Store it sealed with desiccant when you’re not using it.
- PLA softens at around 54°C, so keep prints out of hot cars and direct sun.
- Print in a ventilated room, as with any 3D printing.
