Reliable, easy PLA for everyday printing. Anycubic PLA Basic is a dependable all-rounder for hobbyists, students, schools and makers. It prints easily on any 1.75mm FDM printer and gives consistent, clean results, making it the ideal filament for learning, prototyping and everyday projects.
Neutral, versatile grey. A clean mid-grey that suits almost anything. Use it for prototypes, mechanical and functional parts, tabletop miniatures and terrain, architectural models, and any print you plan to paint, since grey shows fine detail clearly.
Smooth, reliable feeding. The neatly wound spool helps prevent tangles and keeps filament feeding smoothly, so you get fewer jams and more successful prints. Consistent extrusion gives clean layers without bubbles.
Easy to print. It prints at 190–230°C and 50–200mm/s with simple, forgiving settings, which makes it perfect for beginners. It’s also one of the strongest PLAs in the Anycubic range between layers, so it handles everyday functional parts well too.
Low odour. PLA is made from plant-based, renewable materials and has only a mild smell when printing, which makes it comfortable for homes, offices and classrooms.

Tips for best results
- Dry the spool at 45–50°C for 6–8 hours if it’s been open for a while.
- Store it sealed with desiccant when you’re not using it.
- PLA softens at around 54°C, so keep prints out of hot cars and direct sun.
- Print in a ventilated room, as with any 3D printing.
