Reliable, easy PLA for everyday printing. Anycubic PLA Basic is a dependable all-rounder for hobbyists, students, schools and makers. It prints easily on any 1.75mm FDM printer and gives consistent, clean results, making it the ideal filament for learning, prototyping and everyday projects.
Bold, vivid red. A rich, eye-catching red that makes prints pop. It’s great for toys, cosplay props, car and racing models, holiday décor, signage and anything that needs a strong splash of colour.
Smooth, reliable feeding. The neatly wound spool helps prevent tangles and keeps filament feeding smoothly, so you get fewer jams and more successful prints. Consistent extrusion gives clean layers without bubbles.
Easy to print. It prints at 190–230°C and 50–200mm/s with simple, forgiving settings, which makes it perfect for beginners. It’s also one of the strongest of the Anycubic PLA range between layers, so it handles everyday functional parts well too.
Low odour. Made from plant-based, renewable materials, PLA has a mild smell when printing, which makes it comfortable for homes, offices and classrooms.

Tips for best results
- Dry the spool at 45–50°C for 6–8 hours if it’s been open for a while.
- Store it sealed with desiccant when you’re not using it.
- PLA softens at around 54°C, so keep prints out of hot cars and direct sun.
- Print in a ventilated room, as with any 3D printing.
