The LG OLED evo G5 delivers premium picture quality through individually self-lit OLED pixels. The 65-inch 4K Ultra HD panel produces 3840 × 2160 resolution, allowing detailed images with deep blacks, precise highlights and excellent contrast. LG specifies 100% Color Fidelity and 100% Color Volume for the G5 series.
α11 AI Processor 4K Gen2
At the heart of the TV is LG's α11 AI Processor 4K Gen2, which uses AI-based picture processing to optimise compatible content. α11 AI Super Upscaling 4K helps enhance lower-resolution content, while AI Picture Pro, AI Brightness Control and OLED Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro work together to improve image presentation.
Brightness Booster Ultimate
The OLED evo G5 uses Brightness Booster Ultimate technology to deliver significantly brighter OLED imagery. LG markets the G5 as offering up to 3× brighter visuals compared with conventional OLED TVs, depending on the comparison and viewing conditions.
HDR and Cinema Features
Enjoy compatible movies and streaming content with Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG support. FILMMAKER MODE preserves the intended cinematic presentation of compatible content, while OLED Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro helps optimise HDR imagery.
165Hz Gaming Performance
The G5 combines a 120Hz native refresh rate with VRR support up to 165Hz. It is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync, and includes ALLM and Game Optimizer/Game Dashboard features. LG specifies a response time of less than 0.1ms and Dolby Vision Gaming support at 4K 120Hz.
Immersive 60W Audio
The integrated 4.2-channel sound system delivers 60W of audio output. Dolby Atmos provides compatible immersive audio, while α11 AI Sound Pro can create a virtual 11.1.2-channel up-mixed sound experience. Bluetooth Surround Ready, WOW Orchestra and AI Acoustic Tuning are also supported.
webOS 25 Smart TV
webOS 25 provides access to LG's smart-TV features, including a full web browser, LG Channels, Google Cast, Apple AirPlay, Apple Home, Google Home/Hub and LG ThinQ integration. AI Chatbot, Voice ID, hands-free voice control and personalised smart features are also supported, although app and service availability can vary by region.
AI Magic Remote
The included LG Magic Remote MR25 provides point-and-click navigation together with voice control and dedicated AI functionality. LG lists AI Search, AI Concierge, AI Chatbot and other AI features for the G5 platform.
Connectivity
Four HDMI inputs support advanced gaming and home-theatre functions including 4K 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, eARC, QMS and QFT. The TV also includes three USB 2.0 ports, optical digital audio output, Ethernet, dual RF inputs, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
